Crepes Recipe and Method

Today was a cold, rainy day, and we had Technology. I wasn't as excited today, because it was raining, but the worst thing was I had to take off my hoodie because it was a different color. When we arrived I didn't want to get off the bus because it was already warm, but I got off anyway. Water was pouring from above and splashes of water tackling my legs while I was walking to my class.

After that cold experience, I finally reached my class and I felt a warm breeze go pass me, and it was much better being in there than being outside. Then I put on my apron on and got on with it.

First we had to grab our aprons and put them on, then we had to wash our hands with soap. After that we all had to have a buddy and mine was Papiloti, once we chose our buddies we had to sit at a table. Then Mrs Hamer, our cooking teacher, showed us what to get out and then she showed us how to cut the fruit. Today we were making colorful fruit jars. My buddy and I grabbed out the things we needed, we also needed a green chopping board because Mrs Hamer has a color for each food we’re cutting, chopping or dicing. We went over to the sink and washed our fruits and then we peeled all our fruit and then we started cutting them. Once we finished cutting them we had to start cleaning our cooking stations. Next we filled our cups with some fruit, but it had to be in layers, so apples had to be in one layer, oranges, had to be in one layer and so on. Mrs Hamer  handed us some yoghurt to put on top of our fruit, then she checked if everything was in place and cleaned. My buddy and I didn’t get approved at first, but eventually we passed. Lastly she took some photos of us with our fruit cup and sent it to our teachers. My favourite part of Food Tech was probably eating the fruit jar at the end, this was my first time in Food Tech.
