Garden to table

On Thursday my class and I went to our school garden and my teacher, Mr Naidoo decided that we should grab some veggies out of the garden. After we left our class we headed to our garden box and just cut some lettuce so we could make ourselves some sandwiches. My teacher said that if we cut the sides of the lettuce then it will grow back. Once we finished cutting our lettuce we went to the kitchen to assemble our sandwiches. Mr also provided us some tomatoes and mayonnaise. We lined up and made our sandwiches and then we ate them all up. Finally we finished it all and we really enjoyed the sandwiches we made with fresh veggies.
