My First Day of the Holidays

 

Hello. As you may have seen in my last blog post, I posted about it being the holidays and also The Last Day of Term 2. Last night I stayed up way past my bedtime, I'm not saying that I have a bedtime, but what I'm trying to say is that I've stayed up later than usual. I should've been sleeping by 10:00 or 9:00, but because it was the holidays already I thought that it was alright to stay up until 3:00 am, but it actually wasn't. Did you know that staying up late could affect the way you act during the day? Well if you didn't, now you do, and I just found that out recently. Staying up late really messed up my daily routine, my schedule and my eating time. Today I woke up around 12:00 pm, which is lunch time and because I woke up so late I was eating Breakfast at Lunch. I really do hope to not stay up as late as today in the future.

My Holiday

Holidays are a time to catch up with your friends and family. My holiday was very boring because most of my holiday was spent at home, but it was quite fun because we went to exciting places like chipmunks, and the pools.

On the first Monday it was my cousins birthday and we went to chipmunks to celebrate it their, once we arrived there was a lot of people there because of the holidays. We went on lots of slides and we climbed a lot of things as well.

Later that week it was starting to get hotter each day, so my mum and aunty decided to take us to the pools. We went to the Pakuranga pools and it was packed as well. We spent a long time their, but when we knew it was time to get out we headed back home, and most of us straight away went to bed because we had an exhausting day at the pools.

Finally we had one more week until school and I didn’t like that because I loved the holidays because we got to stay up late or sleep in. On the last week we didn't know what to do so we stayed home and did some house work.

Holidays are quite boring, but also fun at the same time. I loved my holidays because we went to awesome places.

  

My holiday

In the holiday my family and I went to the Warehouse to buy our school uniform, lunch box, bag and shoes. Next we went to the beach at Cockle bay, it was cool there because there was a ice cream truck and we got the one with the flake on top. Then we just stayed home because we did so many things we got tired of moving places so we watched television. Finally we went over to my aunty's house and we had a BBQ and we also played games with my cousin's.
