Breakfast at school

I personally think that kids should have breakfast every morning at school because
it will help them think properly and it will give you some energy throughout the day.

Firstly breakfast helps kids to concentrate on their learning so they don’t miss out
on any thing. Kids need breakfast to think as well, and it will give them energy to
learn, also some kids might be fake sick at school because they are sleepy or
hungry in the mornings.

Secondly some families may not be able to afford cereal or milk for their kids in
the mornings, and their parents might be busy at work or too tired because they
couldn’t sleep at night.

Thirdly having breakfast will really help their attitude in class, because they
might be angry or frustrated because they didn’t have breakfast or they might
not be interested in a subject because of that.

Another reason why is because kids don’t have enough time to have breakfast or
have something to eat in the morning and that affects their learning and health.

Finally, kids should have breakfast because it helps them in school and I wouldn’t
leave home on an empty stomach because I wouldn’t focus on school work.

    

My best Weekend

On Saturday morning, my mum and I went out to Sylvia Park and done some shopping. After that we grabbed something to eat and some breakfast for my brothers and sisters at home to eat. Later on after we grabbed something to eat we headed back home to give them some breakfast. Then my mum told them to get changed so we could go over to our nana’s house to help her with her gardening. Gardening was fun and I enjoyed pulling out the old plants and planting brand new ones that looked much better than the other ones because the new plants were bright and colorful. Next it was getting dark so we decided to have dinner at her house, so My brother and I went to KFC and got our dinner, and my brother grabbed some wicked wings just for us two. We arrived at our nana’s house and we set the table, then we ate our delicious food all up. Finally I was stuffed and we were going home, but I decided to sleepover my nana’s house because it seemed fun there.

On Sunday we had to wake up early because we had church in the morning at 12 o'clock and my mum didn’t want to be late. Once we arrived we went in and did church stuff, but then my baby sister started to cry because she just woke up so I had to take her outside for a bit and play  on the playground. After a few minutes of playing on the playground my baby sister and I got hungry so we went and told our dad then we walked us to the shops and bought us two chips, one drink and a pizza gummy. Finally church finished and the people came out and we were still on the park, Then from far I could see a girl in black, but I ignored her then she shouted out my name and I noticed that it was Deborah my friend that comes to my school and after we said hi I had to go home, and Deborah went church. I never knew that she comes to my church, well she comes to my church, but different times. 

Should plastic shopping bags be banned

In my own opinion  plastic bags should be banned because
they are killing the animals in the sea and rivers.

Firstly because plastic bags do not only pollute our water but
also our land. Plastic bags are usually lightweight and as such,
they can travel very long distances by either water or wind. Wind
blows these plastic bags and trashes a whole area. These litters
gets caught up in between trees, fences and floats in water.

Secondly some sea creatures might think that it is either jellyfish
or some type of food, and single used straws could end up inside
them, also other plastics.

Finally people don’t know what they are doing to the animals that
live in the sea, they are just enjoying their lives, while sea animals
are suffering because of plastic.

I think plastic bags should be banned because  of the harm they
cause to our environment.

The NED show

Today we went to the hall and watched the NED show, It was fun and awesome, also quite funny. The NED show helped me understand that if you fail don't just stop, you have to keep on going and never give up. I've also learnt that I have to encourage others to try new things like Sports, Art, and a really difficult Maths problem. Lastly I learnt that if I'm left behind I still have to do my best. 

How to play Speed

First of all you need cards. You need to set it up and how you

do that is you have to set five each onto the sides and set

two in the middle. Next you have to flip the two cards in the

middle faced up. Then yourself and whoever your playing

with get twenty cards each and you have to try and put the

cards in order for example, if it's an ace then you must put

down a king or a two. It can go from biggest to smallest or

from smallest to biggest. I can get kind of nervous because

I might lose, but I get use to it, well not losing but the nervous

feeling. I think that this game can help people (Mostly children)

put numbers down faster and if little kids play this they might

learn how to count more faster as well.

My Duffy Book

This book is about Clara who is a girl that hates when other

people or herself gets into trouble. A few days later men and

boys got struck down by a mysterious illness and Clara is on

a mission to find out what happened to them. Clara thought

that she could do it by herself, but she never knew how wrong

she was.

My highlights this year in room 11

My highlights this year is Culture day, and Sailing

My favourite highlight this year was Culture day because lots
of parents came and each group had a fantastic performance.

My group was the Tongan group and it was quite difficult
because we had lots of moves in our dance. We were going
up last because our principal said that he wants the audience
to be wowed when they go home. I was feeling quite nervous
and hot because firstly I was nervous because I saw a lot of
people there and I was hot because the sun was really shining
and I almost got cooked. My favourite part of culture day
was at the end I got to go shops because my nana and mum
gave me money because I was dancing, and also smiling
while dancing. 

At Sailing we did fun activities there like capsizing the boats
and also trying to catch as much toys in the water as possible.
My favourite part of Sailing was capsizing the boats because
I got to do it with my friends and we had some funny moments
like how Elenoa, Papiloty, and Alrida got stuck under the sail.
I had fun at Sailing and at the end in the bus We were all worn
out that most of us were sleeping.
