Today we learnt how to control a mBot to move backwards while its moving forward. In this picture is the code I used to program my mBot. Today's challenge was pretty easy because Mr Krishna, our Robotics teacher, just showed us how to do it. Today we had to do two things, and one of them was controlling the mBot to go backwards, while it was moving forward, by using our hands. The second thing we had to do was, we had to put in a code that made the mBot move forward, but when we put something in front of it, it stops. Then when we move that thing, it moves again. After doing all of that we got to play a quiz and it was really fun. Today was fun and I hope next week we do more than just two codes.
Today at technology we focused on writing a number eight, but using the mBot. In this picture is the code I used to program my mBot. It was challenging because we had to add a lot of things into the code. Today was even more challenging than last week because most of the time my mBot didn't do what the code said to do, but I managed to catch up to the rest of the people in my group. Today was fun and I would really like to do something like this another time.
In Technology we were focusing on how to make the mbot make a D while its moving. As you can see in this picture there is the code I inserted into the mbot. It was really fun programming the mbot today because it was something we never done before and it's also something very challenging for us. Next week we might program it to make a numbers eight or even try making a triangle.
