Prototec
Today I did another Prototec Basic Facts test and I got 90% on stage 7. Last time I got 72%, it looks like I'm making progress. I just need to work on my fractions and Percentages and I think I'll be fine. I'm really happy with my score and I hope next time I can get one hundred percent so I can move onto stage eight and maybe beat the others that are currently on that stage.

Earthworms
I really enjoyed digging for Earthworms because at first most of us didn't want to go out and look for them, but then when we got use to it we didn't want to leave. I hope we could go out again and experience more about Earthworms.

Technology
Today for Technology we programmed the mbot again, but this time we got to move it from one side to another. Firstly we had to make the lights go red to blue because he just wanted to see if we still knew how to do it, and we did. Then we had to go on the folder we made last week and we had to go on the slides that he made and we had to insert a photo and video that he was going to make of our mbot into one of the slides. After that we got on with moving the bot. First we had to connect the wire from the bot to our laptop. Then we had to go on mblock and programme it there, it was quite easy because he told us what code we had to use. Next we had to test it to see if it actually works, but at a different table with a barrer on the sides because if the mbot is moving it needs something to stop it and it needs a bigger table than the one that we were at before because if it doesn't then the bot will fall and break. I was really happy that it worked because it was the first time I programmed a robot to move. Today was really cool because we learnt a lot of new things and John didn't drop the mbot this time.

Animation
Today my class and I made animations, but on Google Slides. It's pretty simple making an animation on Google Slides than making it on a app because all you do is add images and each slide you change the angles and sizes. It was really fun making this animation because I did it myself and I didn't have my friend telling me what to do and what not to do. I put these particular images into my animation because last year we did something similar to this and I thought that it would be easier since I already know how this works. I think I did a great job on my animation than last year.
How I made it:
I made this animation by copying the first image I made and then inserting it into the next one. Once I did that I inserted the rocketship into my slide. Then I just kept changing the angles and sizes of the earth and the rocketship on each slides.

Technology at Tamaki College
Today we got to go to Tamaki College for Technology, I was excited because it was the first time ever since lockdown started going back there in real life. The past 2 weeks we've been doing Technology online. The first week we switched classes and I'm in the same group, but different class and I was in Robotics. Once we arrived we hopped off and went inside, I was kind of lost because it was my first time going into a different class and I didn't know where the class was, until my friend that was in Robotics last time, leaded us to the class. My friend was lucky because she was in cooking and that's a class where they cook yummy things and they even get to eat it. Robotics was fun because we got to programme a mbot on mBlock. Once Mr Krishna handed out the bots he told us not to drop it because it cost over $100 for one and he said that if we do then we might have to pay for it. When John got the bot he straight away dropped it and he thought that it wasn't broken until he couldn't connect it. Mr Krishna gave him another one and luckily he didn't break the other one. The first step we had to do to programme it is turning the lights on and restarting it. We connected it to our laptops and started to restart it, once we did that we put in what we wanted it to do. Then we were all finished and our teacher told us to save it and put it into our new folder and save it for next time we come, which is next Tuesday.
